This is my third child and I am looking for doula for the day time for about a month after birth. I need someone can do the cooking and cleaning of the house. Changing diapers. Babysit my two children who are seven and five. I will probably do breastfeeding as I did it last time with my daughter. I have a midwife and will deliver the baby in hospital.
1. Where do you plan to give birth (home/hospital)? Hospital. 2. Provide your estimated budget Our estimated budget for doula support is $1,500. We are most interested in meaningful support that focuses on emotional reassurance, breastfeeding guidance, and helping us adjust during the early postpartum period. 3. Describe your birth plan This is my first baby, so I’m keeping my birth plan flexible and open-minded. My main goal is to feel calm, supported, and informed throughout the process. I plan to give birth in a hospital and would like to aim for a low-intervention birth if possible, while fully trusting medical guidance if plans need to change. Emotional support and reassurance are very important to me, especially as someone who can feel anxious in new situations. My priorities include: Feeling supported and advocated for during labor My partner being involved and supported as well Skin-to-skin contact after birth if possible Support with early breastfeeding and latching A calm, positive environment that helps reduce stress and overwhelm I value guidance, reassurance, and gentle encouragement over a rigid birth plan, and I’m looking for support that helps me feel confident as I transition into motherhood.
Hospital birth. Doesn't have an idea how much is a doula service. My husband will be away from the moment I gave birth until November so it'll be me, my mom and my sister who will take care of the baby. Thinking of an additional help when it comes to all baby needs on the first couple months
Where do you plan to give birth (home/hospital)? hospital Describe your birth plan: Natural birth with medication Provide your estimated budget: 1000 Include any additional duties: I'm looking for birth support at hospital and postpartum doula support at home in the first few months (no need to be everyday

Hello, I am urgently seeking an available Postpartum Doula to start within the next few days. I am having a scheduled C-section tomorrow, Friday, December 12th, as my baby is breech. I am looking for in-home support primarily to ensure I can rest and recover from the surgery while taking care of the new baby. My Family & Situation: Location: Rangeview in the SE. Family: New baby and a 4-year-old toddler who attends daycare every weekday (M-F). Feeding Plan: Planning to breastfeed. The Support I Need: I am looking for support that helps me focus on healing and bonding. This would primarily include: Light household support: Tidy-up, running a load of laundry, etc. Simple meal preparation: Light snacks and quick meals. General help/assistance: Helping me stay rested, fetching things, managing small tasks, and helping with the baby while I rest. Ideal Schedule: I am flexible but would ideally like: 3-4 hours per day for the first 1-2 weeks (or whatever consistent schedule works best). Following the initial two weeks, I would likely transition to fewer hours or days per week. If you have immediate availability and this sounds like the type of support you offer, please reach out right away! Thank you very much.
