Hi! My due date is June 15 and I’m giving birth at AdventHealth Avista in Louisville. I’m looking for a bilingual English/Spanish doula who can support me during labor and also help me prepare beforehand with things like: * breathing techniques * exercises/positions for vaginal delivery * labor preparation * comfort techniques * partner guidance * general birth education I’m still deciding how I feel about pain medication/epidural, so I’m looking for someone supportive and non-judgmental who can guide me through the process and help me feel calm and prepared.
Need help with breastfeeding. My baby is having a hard time latching and I’m having a having a hard time finding a position that works for us. She is 4 days old.
Need help getting baby to latch, so I can nurse him.
My baby is 4 months old and doesn’t latch anymore and with pumping I feel like I’m not getting enough to fill her up. I’m wanting to get help to latch her again. She will latch on once in a while but not for every feed. Also wanting help to increase my milk, getting 4-6 oz with my first pump and after more than 3oz.
I am not sure if I am latching correctly. My baby is really gassy after feeds and his lips almost look white. It feels like he has a deep latch, but want to double check. I would like someone who is younger and also a mother
We are looking for female night nurse or doula who accepts Cigna local plus and can help with feedings and changing diapers overnight.
I am currently attempting to re lactate and need some guidance I’m hoping to find someone that accepts Medicaid.
Need help with breastfeeding and a potential tongue tie
Plan to give birth at the hospital, unsure of budget and would love to have a vaginal birth as unmedicated as possible but not against an epidural. My husband is a Spanish speaker, learning English so I would love someone willing to support him as well even if not fully bilingual.
Dealing with breast refusal for about a month now and also won’t take a bottle. Baby will only nurse while sleeping
I am looking for a lactation consultant who can help improve nursing with my newborn. He seemed to be latching okay, but he wasn't gaining weight and was still below birth weight at our 2-week appointment. My supply has been good (pumping 5-6 oz every 3 hours), so maybe it's a transfer issue. Our pediatrician told us to start supplementing with formula 3 days ago. Since then, he has gained weight and is now above birth weight, but he is having more trouble latching. I would like some assistance urgently to ensure I can continue to breastfeed going forward.
Hello. I’m searching for someone who can assist me at a hospital birth. Someone that can help convey to the medical staff the importance of sticking to and respecting the birth plan in order. Someone willing to give any advice on breastfeeding. Someone who is covered under my insurance-blue cross blue shield.
Lactation Consultant postpartum. Ideally to visit me at home in Bailey, CO. Covered by Insurance: Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Hospital birth Not sure of budget? Hoping to go with little to no medication but definitely no epidural.
My baby is exclusively breast fed but my supply has drastically dropped over the last month. Im only getting a fraction of what I used to pumping and she seems to be getting a little less when eating. Started having these issues when my periods returned
I plan to give birth either at home or in a birthing center, with a focus on a holistic, low-intervention approach while prioritizing the safety and well-being of both myself and my baby. While I do not have a finalized birth plan at this time, I am seeking a certified midwife with at least five years of experience. I would also like access to comprehensive prenatal education, labor and birth support, postpartum guidance, and lactation assistance.
My son was born on March 23, he was 7lb.09oz and 21 in long. I EB his first 2 wks and he went down to 6.15 and did not regain his birth weight until 3 wks. We are combo feeding, mixing breastmilk and formula. He now weights about 9.11oz. He's gaining weight slowly and that's fine . I also pump a few times a day alongside breast-feeding, morning pumps are great( up to 7oz) and then maybe 1oz or 2 with my other pumps. At night he only breastfeeds and I think he's either not able to latch great or get enough milk. He falls asleep in the breast and I can't tell if he's full. I need help.
Sometimes when trying to breastfeed she cries and screams to the point that her whole body has turned red and does not latch or suck. Other times she latches just fine and feeds for 30 minutes. I have no idea what I’m doing differently each time.
Haven’t been able to latch baby at two weeks pp. I have been exclusively pumping and supplementing with formula
2 week old baby not transferring enough milk while BFing. I am having to triple feed so I’d really like to see what’s going on to get his transfer from me up to a full feeding for him. He is also just soooo sleepy at the breast and it’s hard to get him to actively suck, which is probably a contributor.
