We plan to give birth at Stanford Children's hospital. This is our second child and we would like to do a natural birth again. For our first son's birth, we had a doula who helped with breathing, positioning, encouragement, and support during birth process. Our insurance is BlueShield of California. We are also interested in looking into a postpartum doula depending on pricing
1. I haven’t gotten a referral yet but I think I’ll go with El Camino in Mountain View 2. I’m looking for a doula that accepts tricare. I’m also open to paying out of pocket but tricare would be my first pick. 3. This is my second child and the labor with my first was under 4 hours. Birth plan this time would be to labor without an epidural. All other parts of my birth plan I’m open to suggestions. I’d like to labor at home if possible.
Our second child is due in the first week of December 2026. It is going to be a scheduled C-section. Our first baby was born healthy, and we expect the same for our second baby. We are looking for a night nanny's support to take care of the baby during the first 6 to 8 weeks, 5 to 7 nights a week. 8 hours a night. The main responsibility is to take care of the baby during the night: bringing the baby to mom for feeding or bottle feeding as needed, burping, changing diapers, soothing the baby to sleep, and light baby-related tasks like sterilizing bottles and pump parts.
Hello, My name is Anna Kerlo. I am reaching out to find a doula to support my husband and I through the birth of our baby. I am due August 12, it’s a girl, and she will be our first child after 7 years of IVF treatments. We have Kaiser, and are planning to give birth at Kaiser Santa Clara. I am hoping for a birth as unmedicated as possible, but also understand things don’t always go as planned. Would be available? Thanks a lot in advance for your help, Anna Kerlo
I have Kaiser insurance and am planning on giving birth at Kaiser Santa Clara. My birth plan is to be open to assistance or suggestions from professional support. I would like to try different types of pain management and am open to all if necessary. Ideally I do not want to have an IV so movement is possible. I would like to have delayed chord clamping if possible. Skin to skin and golden hour are important to me. My husband will be in the room and is very kind and attentive. I would like to have contact after birth as it is my first child and I’m sure there will be questions, but we don’t need help like cooking, cleaning, or laundry.
I have Kaiser HMO plan. Plan to give birth in hospital. I have hip arthritis with limited hip mobility in one leg. Other leg is perfectly fine. I want to explore if vaginal birth is possible for me. I want to know about alternate birthing positions.
I need a night doula who can take full ownership of the baby’s needs during night when I am not the first responder. I need someone to autonomously handle the feeding, the diaper changes, and the soothing.
I will be giving birth at Sutter Medical Center Birth Center in midtown Sacramento. I am not sure about a budget. I do not have a birth plan, and would like a doula with all necessary qualifications. I am 28 years old and due to give birth to a baby boy with due date of 08/09/26
I am seeking a postpartum doula available late July / August. I will probably have an elective C-section, so my primary focus is on C-section recovery support, newborn care, and lactation assistance. Knowledge of safe postpartum pelvic floor exercises is a plus.
Need a doula to help with my twin grandsons Please contact me at 1 (805) 405-1803
Hi, my expected due date is on 7/3 at Kaiser Santa Clara location. This is my first baby.
