Louisa is looking for Midwife
|
Location: Wilmington, DE 19801, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: October 28, 2026
I am still deciding on where I want to give birth. I am positive I want to go the unmediated route, though! I have been researching it for years at this point. Budget is flexible. We are insured through Highmark so of course going through our insurance would be preferable. I will only need care from someone in DE from the months of March through July. I will be moving back to Utah and giving birth with my doula that I have already chosen over there. |

Shanci is looking for Birth Doula, Midwife, Lactation Consultant
|
Location: Dalmatia, PA 17017, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: March 27, 2026
I’ve had 3 miscarriages in the last 5 years. My fourth pregnancy, 2 years ago was a healthy, full term baby who is now 2 and doing amazing with no complications during my pregnancy or my delivery. I’m now 21 weeks pregnant with my second son and my experience with UPMC has been nothing but stressful and uninformative. My charts have yet to be corrected for the last 2- 3 months I’ve been going to them. I’m at the point where I don’t feel like my doctors are listening or caring about my wishes/concerns. I am starting to lean towards a home birth with minimal intervention. With my son I got to 9 1/2 cm dilated before I got my epidural last minute and had no issues or barely any discomfort with my contractions. This one is a bit more uncomfortable and I would like to try to do the same as before but without medicine. I have no issue going to a birthing center if need be, I know the travel home with my last hurt me a lot so I was hoping to minimize the distance of travel for my second time around. I also had issues with my son latching for breastfeeding and went to see a lactation consultant twice but she took over an hour to come see us each time which resulted in my son screaming of hunger so I would end up bottle feeding him before she’d come as she took too long and then refused to help us when she heard he was bottle fed so I would like to learn more about breastfeeding if possible either through classes or having someone help me after birth. Our budget is probably $2500-4000. I’m not sure what my insurance covers but would love to look into it more with someone if we can. I’m at the point where I don’t trust my current providers, as too much has gone wrong or missed and I just want to cancel all appointments until I give birth so I’m hoping this is a better alternative for me. |

Bethany is looking for Midwife

Location: Dorothy, NJ 08317, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: September 13, 2026
I’m exploring the option of a homebirth. I have previously given birth naturally in hospitals with midwives twice. I barely made it on my last birth. And I’m farther away from the hospital now where I live. The drive is what makes me nervous in the birthing process. I have wanted to do a homebirth but been nervous about if there was an emergency how it would be handled in a home setting. I would want to be with a midwife who took pretty low risk if an emergency. I’m not concerned about budget, I’m just wanting to find the right fit of a midwife if I go the homebirth route. |

Iyana is looking for OB-GYN, Midwife
|
Location: Lancaster, PA 17602, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: June 11, 2026
I would like to give birth at my home, if possible a water birth. We just moved out to Lancaster, pa. I have had multiple miscarriages before my two full term pregnancies but then I had a recent miscarriage about 2 years ago. I am 10 weeks and about 3 days so far and just 2 weeks ago I purchased myself prenatal gummies because I can’t do the pills, my last two pregnancies I had to take almost 6 pills different sizes. My WellSpan doctors had me doing 3 different first patient appointments before any ultrasounds or any type of prenatal support I’m no sure why but I chose to look for help elsewhere. I have health partners medicade insurance. I’m looking for somebody to help me through this experience without the hospitals and drugs they provide because I know and have seen successful home births with healthy happy families and would love to experience the same if possible . |

Location: Rochester, NY 14612, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: September 01, 2026
I want a home water birth for my 4th child, but I'm open to delivering in a hospital with proper support. I've never been delivered by any of the OBs I've seen for prenatal care in my previous pregnancies. The most important thing for me is to work with someone who will see me through the entire process of prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care. |

Due date or baby's birthday: July 02, 2026
We plan to give birth at Chester County Hospital in West Chester Pa. We don’t have a limit for our budget. We would like to have a birth as natural as possible. I would like to labor at home for as long as I can, use my bath/ shower, and get through as many contractions until I feel I need to go to the hospital. I don’t want the epidural. I don’t want to be stuck in the hospital bed, hooked up to a bunch of monitors and IVs. I want my Fiancé to help deliver the baby/ be as hands on as possible. Delayed cord clamping. We are taking the placenta. Refusal of vitamin K, hep b. If needed, we will do the eye drops. We also want immediate skin to skin with baby. |

We're looking for a professional to help us bring in our first baby. We plan to give birth at the hospital. Unsure of budget, though our health insurance does appear to cover part of the cost for a midwife. And at this time, we have no birth plan; we're looking for help! |
