In need of a midwife for pregnancy and home birth

Me and my husband planned on having a home birth with absolute no medications or epidurals. I want a complete natural birth, I would prefer for the midwife to be in the close to our area since we are located in Gastonia. Because this is my first pregnancy my budget isn’t really a specific number, I just need someone experienced and hopefully a midwife of color if it’s possible.

Currently Im at week 12 and the nausea and fatigue have passed for the most part. Plain to give birth at a hospital. Budget is moderate. My wife and I are having our first child. We are currently in the medical field but would like a second set of eyes to convey our wishes to the hospital staff and make sure we are not taken advantage of. We are still on the fence with giving the full vaccinations but want to have the best outcome for the baby’s health as well as my wife’s health. Looking for a midwife for potential home-birth. First time pregnancy, prefer a Christian based midwife and doula. Lots of questions to be asked and we do not know where to start or how it works. My husband is a marine veteran and we have insurance but unsure if insurance is accepted or not and if not are payment plans an option.
