My husband and I would love to have a home birth. We don’t know any midwives in our area and want to find one asap to help us in this process. This is our first child so all is new to us. I don’t have a detailed birth plan yet but we would like it to be unmedicated and as natural as possible. Our bodies ca do amazing things and I want to fully experience the birthing process in the comfort of my home.

I am 35 and never thought I could get pregnant - surprise! (IVF for both of my half sisters and similar autoimmune issues made this seem unlikely.) Being "older" I envision a natural birth outside of the traditional hospital setting, while also being realistic about possible complications. I am 22 weeks along, with a boy. I live in my Condo and have purchased a pool for water relaxation/birth. I am at the corner of Rte 125 and 9 so not far from WDH (Wentworth Douglass). I want to labor privately at home. I’d love to incorporate water into my home birth but it’s not mandatory. What’s most important is my mental health staying calm and focused on my baby. This is my second birth. My son was born 10 years ago, and I carried out a natural labor with him with no complications 🤍 am interested in a midwife for communications via smartphone and labor/birthing help on that special day. Prenatal check up I will use my provider. In the event I must birth at the hospital, I’d like a doula to advocate for me my wants and needs. If I can find someone willing to assist the birth naturally at home then that would be ideal.
