Ideally, we would like to give birth at home, but are open to doing it at a birth center as well. We are already quite far along, since we recently had to decide to leave the care team we were working with (they weren’t very supportive of a natural birth), so since we’re 31 weeks and have already spent money on prenatal care, we would be looking to spend between 2-3K. Natural birth, no interventions unless necessary.

C-section was in 2022.

I plan to birth at home for as long as I can then go to hospital. My first son I was induced at 39 weeks and that day was so long, stressful, miserable. My second came so fast, almost gave birth on the way. Just at 37 weeks. I want my experience to be more spiritual maybe is the right word? I’ve read and seen many wonderful sensual beautiful experiences, peaceful, and I absolutely dream of something like that. And someone that can help my partner actually get involved during the process instead of sleeping LOL. I have UCARE Medicare so I’m not sure if it can be covered or how that works

I don't understand what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm 6 months pregnant and everything about hospitals, and doctors scare me. I've had rough experiences that have led me to avoid doctors over time. I recently got a primary care provider because I was told I had to get one before going to an ogbyn. Now I'm told I can't go see anyone and I'm confused because I've been misled, but it's not like I feel like there is something wrong, I don't think there is at all. I take prenatals, I eat as healthy as I can, I drink water, and sometimes coffee to keep my bowels moving without having to take anything else. I may have ibs like my mom, so I stay away from dairy as much as I can to prevent severe constipation. I've just been doing it on my own. Even when I take my 5yo to a doctor for shots and to get treated when she is sick with a fever, the doctors treat me like I'm a burden or I'm a problem when I'm just quiet and explain whats going on the best way I can from what I'm seeing and hearing, and what my 5yo is telling me. It just makes no sense. It scares me because they treat me that way that they may use malpractice on my own child. I just stay away from it as much as I can. I didnt even go by myself this last time, I had her father come with me to help me not skip out on the appointment. Mrs. Jillian was very kind though and told me all I would have to do is set up an appointment at an ob, and they are saying I can't. So I have no idea, please help me!! 🙏

I am really wanted someone that can give me insight and help on achieving one of my biggest goals of going fully unmediated. I have thought about doing a home birth as I will feel more comfortable but I worry about if something goes wrong or do I go to the hospital after I give birth? I have also thought about making a birth plan and finding a hospital that won’t come in and question me 24/7 or give any pushback when I or my husband says no to something. We are hoping to go through insurance but if not possible then can talk about budget.

I plan on giving birth at a hospital but making sure it’s a comfortable setting with no medication or ivs what so ever. I want extra help and to be near a hospital if something goes wrong. My budget is up in the air too. Would like if insurance could cover a lot of the costs.
