This little one was a big surprise since I was going through perimenopause. I didn’t even know my body was still able to conceive do to lack of menstruation. But here we are so many questions so many worries feeling like I’m being ignored by the typical medical staff.

Hello, I plan to give birth at a hospital; this is my first time! I want to give birth unmedicated and be able to move freely and be active, the only medication I considered is laughing gas and I plan to use a birth comb and breathing techniques. My current practice has a less than ideal reputation but I was unable to move to the OBGYN that I wanted due to how far along I am and I am not sure if I can just go to the other hospital that I prefer once I go into labor. I wanted to labor in warm water but my current OBGYN/hospital doesn’t offer this. I am seeking someone to support me during my labor and intervene if I’m pressured to do something that I do not want.
