 I am currently looking for a birth doula for my first pregnancy. This is my first baby, and my due date is April 22, 2026. I feel scared and nervous when I think about labour and birth. I am planning to have a vaginal birth and have some concerns about tearing. I am also hoping for a calm and peaceful birthing environment, as I tend to feel anxious in busy settings, such as rooms with frequent interruptions or medical students present. I am looking for a doula who can advocate for me and my baby and help me feel supported and informed throughout the process. I also wanted to ask whether your doulas are certified through a recognized organization, or if you are registered as a paramedical practitioner in British Columbia (such as a Naturopathic Doctor or Social Worker). I have extended health benefits through Pacific Blue Cross and would be using those benefits. Ideally, I am looking for someone who can submit claims under their registration or provide an official receipt that includes their registration number for reimbursement purposes. We are from South of India. - I am looking for someone who is kind, caring and can be a constant support to navigate those crucial periods at the hospital. Hello, I’m looking for a doula or midwife to help me Prepare for a natural birth. I need help in understanding my rights for birth and someone who can help encourage me at that moment and advocate for me. Currently I am 26 weeks Pregnant . Also it’s just me and my husband in this country, we don’t have any support here , so a warm and kind person to support us would be really helpful. Since it’s my first pregnancy and in a new country I am currently clueless, along with this, I don’t have any family support. So truly some emotional support along with birth prep is what I need. Also we live in burquitlam, but my husband and I are willing to travel if need be. Budget is no problem. We would like a home birth/ water birth but open to a hospital one. Wherever the midwife or doula can support - namely rch, Surrey memorial, Burnaby, Vancouver women’s hospital.

We have an OB for our firstborn. We will be delivering in the Burnaby hospital. The budget is around 1k but is flexible depending on the match. We plan to give birth naturally and with the earliest chance injection of epidural as possible.

Prefer as least as possible medical interventions and checks before and during labor by the hospital doctors. As natural as possible. If not possible, of course open to it just not as the first option. I am looking for help with birth positions, back massage, provide tens machine, peanut ball, and guidance to me and my husband. Guiding us through the process to enjoy it as much as possible. It is our first baby. Preferably medically educated, experienced and non-religious doula. Someone kind, warm, and caring would be great.
