I want to give birth in my home. I gave birth to my first in a birthing Center. This time I want to stay home, dim lights, lots of breathing, slow movement, bath tub, help from a doula… I’m hoping pushing will be different than my first baby. I heard there are different ways of pushing than active push and hold… I’d love to learn more about that! Max budget is 10k

I have been searching for a midwife or Doula that will accept insurance. I would prefer a birthing center but I have not found one that would be an option, I am perfectly happy being in a hospital with a midwife or doula with me. I'm currently with GPS but trying to find a place to switch to where I can have a midwife or doula. Hi! I need a doula in the tricare east network and covered by incerance that can help me in a water birth at a birthing center. We will be moving half way through my pregnancy to Texas. This is my first bag so I have no idea what to expect. I do have some pre existing health issuses but have no been deemed high risk yet.

I’m in need of a doula who can help me prepare my body for and give a natural birth. This is my fourth child. I have fibromyalgia and each of my children was born in a hospital with an epidural. I would like to avoid having to do that. There is a slight risk of shoulder distocia but I’ve only had an issue with the first child because the doctor panicked and ended up breaking my son’s arm. The other two were delivered healthy with no issues. I’m good with staying active and eating pretty healthy. My third child was actually delivered in a triage room with no Ob or doctor present. He was delivered by six nurses and a lactation consultant. I have superior Medicaid and I’m having to find a doctor late due to moving around too much.
