Me and my girlfriend are expecting in August and would love to have a home birth and also be educated during the process to prepare ourselves as much as possible for our daughter

Planning to give birth in a hospital and looking for support and guidence through birth.

I have a twin pregnancy and have experienced some preterm labor. I am currently 22 weeks pregnant and viability here is 24 weeks. I have had a cerclage and since then I have been in constant pain. I need someone to help me and advocate for me during this pregnancy.

As of today, I am planning to give birth at GMBC, I am an OB who practices at their campus in Towson, MD. I am relying heavily on my two insurance plans and am willing to pay the copays/what they do not cover. I also have not drawn up or outlined a birth plan. I do know I do not what to be induced unless absolutely necessary (AKA Pitocin pressured) and I am open to an epidural. I am really looking for someone I can rely on to educate both parties involved being my significant other and I and my mother who are at this moment who I want present for the birth. And more importantly enforce boundaries from a more medically trained/educated standpoint on my behalf and with my health/survival in mind. I also would love someone who is especially experienced with the mental health aspect of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

I would like to give birth at a birthing center close to a hospital if I need to go to it, but I am not opposed to going to the hospital I just don't want to have the baby on my back. I am also a picky eater so helping me come up with a balanced diet would also be a great help as well.
