Unfortunately, I haven't received the prenatal care I needed for much of my pregnancy due to switching OB-GYNs and dealing with other challenges. As a result, I've often felt dismissed during appointments, and it's been difficult to feel heard or supported by my medical providers. I'm hoping to find a doula who can be a supportive presence during the remainder of my pregnancy, help me prepare for birth, and provide reassurance and advocacy during labor and delivery. Having someone in my corner who will listen, help me ask questions, and support my birth preferences would mean a great deal to me. I am new to the idea of having a doula. I would like to do more preparation work to hopefully have a smoother delivery. My first experience of childbirth, ended in a natural delivery that was forceps assisted, and I had 3+ hours of pushing before we decided between forceps or C section. I had to be induced after 11 days being overdue. I would hope that with this next pregnancy I can go naturally and have way less medications than I had the first time. I want to trust that my body knows what to do, but I need to help train it to achieve my goal. I understand despite some things are out of my control, I can help myself to have a better delivery and post partum outcome. 1. Monmouth Medical Center 2. I am looking for a very experienced doula who can help my husband and I prepare for a hospital delivery. It is important for me to have someone with a calming presence who can guide my husband and I through the birthing process. I am looking for a doula who can prepare me physically and emotionally for labor and childbirth since I have always had some anxiety about the idea of labor. My budget is TBD. Estimated Budget: $2,000 Birth plan: To be discussed I am currently pregnant with sextuplets and am seeking a doula for what will be a high-risk pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period. Due to the rarity of this pregnancy, I am well known within my local area and surrounding communities. As a result, discretion is essential. I expect a high level of privacy, confidentiality, and professional boundaries at all times.

I am a new mom and need help navigating important birth decisions and putting together a birth plan that works best for me- free of doctor biase. I just want the most natural required decisions considering my body’s condition to not put my baby in harms way. 3. My birth plan is something I am researching now but I want delayed cord cutting for sure; I don’t want pitocin if not needed. I don’t want to be induced early- I might not want the HPB Vaccine for baby or Vitamin K (still researching) and want to do skin to skin with dad and I. We want to be present in babies first bath and want baby in room at all times if possible. No students performing high risk procedures on me - ok to watch if necessary. I would love a homebirth but do not have the financials for a midwife. I am currently getting care through Stonybrook, however I want to switch to either NUMC or Huntington if I cannot figure out the homebirth situation. I want a doula IN PERSON regardless for support but more so if I am in the hospital. This is my 3rd pregnancy. My first was an unnecessary C-section. My second was a VBAC that I had to fight for. I am not religious.
