I’m looking to hire a doula for birthing and labor support. This will be my 4th time giving birth. My partner has a very hectic schedule and there is a big potential he won’t be able to make it to the birth. I need to ensure that I have support during my labor. I’ve dealt with some health issues prior to pregnancy so I want to ensure that I have support during my stay at the hospital.

I just want a female support person during labor as I don’t have any female support for labor, but I also want them to know and understand what’s going on. I also need one through my healthy blue Medicaid as I cannot afford one

I want a calm, supportive hospital birth with a midwife present to advocate for me and help me understand everything. I prefer a natural birth without an epidural and want clear communication before anything is done.
