I am looking for a doula to assist me in a natural home birth. Minimal intervention. Holistic views similar to mine. Im not sure of an average cost, so I would guess my budget is $1,500?

I’m looking for a midwife and/or doula who accepts my health insurance. I either want to have a home birth or a low-intervention hospital birth. I haven’t yet made an entire birth plan. I’m 37 years old. I’m looking for someone who is incredibly compassionate, attentive, and empowering (confident in my body’s abilities). My estimated budget is unknown.

I, mother, am about 7-8 weeks along and would prefer a water birth and as natural of a birth as possible. However, dad wants the delivery to be in a hospital as it would be our first. I need help preparing and adjusting to the new addition in our life. There are no qualifications besides basic life support for an emergency. The dad is a paramedic and very paranoid of anything happening.

I want a home birth with as little stress as possible. i also want a midwife i can talk to all the and form a bond with. preferably an older woman with that empathetic and caring nature of a mom. budget shouldn’t be an issue but i would like someone covered by insurance if possible. i want to just have a home birth or even a water birth.

I plan to give birth at home with a budget of $3,000 plus supplies. I need a midwife throughout the pregnancy journey to provide checkups and needed testing. I need someone to be there during labor and delivery, then to provide postpartum visits. This is my second child. Labor time with my first was 5 hours with no complications. I want it to be just like the first time: Surrounded by my midwife team and family all working together through the intense process. I’d love to try a water birth this time! We kept the cord attached to the placenta a while and did skin to skin immediately.

I’m still trying to decide between a home and hospital birth. We don’t want vaccines and want to be able to keep an eye on the baby at all times. I don’t want a bunch of people in the delivery because too many people make me anxious and I won’t be able to relax. I don’t want the cord clamped until white and not pulsating. We want to give them their first bath when the time is right. I don’t want to give birth on my back.

I plan to give birth in the privacy of my own home. I’m seeking a calm and gentle midwife that makes me feel comfortable. I prefer no secondary help or doula.
