Hi, I’m Chantel—a birth doula, mama of two little ones, and someone who truly believes this season of life deserves to be held with care, humor, and a whole lot of heart. When I’m not supporting families, you can usually find me chasing my babies around, dancing in the kitchen, getting outside in nature, or dreaming up creative projects. I have a background in yoga and movement, which deeply shapes how I support birth—tuning into the body, finding rhythm, and creating a sense of calm and connection in the midst of it all. I came into this work because I’m passionate about helping families feel supported, seen, and confident as they step into parenthood. Birth is powerful and unpredictable, and I’m here to be a steady, grounding presence through it—offering hands-on support, encouragement, and guidance while honoring your unique path. My hope is that you feel safe to be fully yourself in this experience, and that you walk away feeling not just supported, but truly cared for.

I am a Holistic Full Circle Doula of color happily supporting families of all kinds in the Vancouver, WA, Portland, OR metro areas. As a Full Circle Doula, I am passionate about education when it comes to pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum and provide evidence based information to help you make informed decisions about your care. My primary focus is to give you the tools to achieve the birth and postpartum experience you desire in a positive, compassionate way and to support you and your family throughout the entire childbearing year and beyond. I believe my passion, approach, natural nurturing nature, experience, unique offerings, and knowledge, especially as a mixed race woman, allow me to help other women and families in so many unique ways. I am also a trained Birthkeeper, Placenta Specialist, Certified Lactation Counselor, and Certified Childbirth Educator. It would truly be honor to be your Doula and help you bring beautiful new life into your world.

I am the mother of a son and a tender of community, gardens, and dogs in Rockaway Beach. It is my honor and privilege to walk beside mothers and families as they move through the rite of passage that is welcoming a new child into the world. I believe that this is a life-changing transition, and I respect both how difficult and how awe-inspiring it can be. I am here to help you find solid ground through practical support and compassionate connection, and to help you find your voice, tend to your body, and connect with your child through your innate love.
