Night Nurse / Postpartum Support Needed Hi! I’m currently looking for a night nurse or postpartum support person to help with my newborn. Ideally, I’m hoping to find someone who is an RN, birth assistant, or experienced newborn care specialist, and is CPR certified. I’m looking for support for about 6–8 weeks, around 4 nights per week, with shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. My main goal is to have overnight support so I can get some rest while knowing my baby is well cared for. I would like help with feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and general newborn care throughout the night. I will also need to be woken up twice per night to pump. I’m looking for someone who is reliable, gentle, and experienced with newborns, and who can help create a calm and supportive overnight routine. We require someone with experience dealing with young babies, preferably those with reflux. No certification is required but it is a plus. Must have up to date TDAP vaccine. My baby is 3 months old and has silent reflux and very bad gas. He’s gotten a lot better with treatment and can usually sleep for longer stretches, but still needs extra care. He usually wakes twice a night to feed. My wife and I would love any help instilling better sleeping habits, but he’s still a little young for full sleep training. The only additional duties would be loading the dirty bottles into the bottle washer. We would like to have someone Sunday through Thursday night, 830pm-630am. Our budget is flexible based on experience. We know this is last minute but we are trying to replace a care provider who fell asleep holding our infant.

Night Nurse to assist with night feeds, putting baby to sleep, bottle washing / sanitizing, occasional light laundry etc. Preferably 5+ years experience and English speaking. Ellie was born 11/13/2025 with SGA (Small for Gestational Age) so is only about 5 lbs 3 oz right now and feeding is important. We do also have 3 dogs, so caregiver would have to be okay with that. I will be giving birth at a local hospital and planning for a vaginal delivery with epidural and I expect postpartum care and healing will be a big hurdle to overcome while caring for the newborn. We're not committed to a budget at this stage but standard rates recommend~$30-$40 per hour (8=10 hours per night shift - 10pm-7am) with the most critical days/weeks being those first 6 weeks. We would expect needing an NCS for 5 nights a week to support and educate us first time parents on feedings, sleep schedules etc and would re-evaluate if continued support is needed.

I had a very traumatic birth and my husband and I are struggling to heal while trying to be up with our newborn at night. This time is different- I had a uterine rupture and an extensive surgery so we’re dealing with a lot as a family. We just need some extra support for a few weeks until he’s about 8-12 weeks old.
