About Samantha

Samantha and Catherine the two co-founders of Midwifery & Lactation Sydney are passionate about providing compassionate care for women, babies and families. They understand that pregnancy and the transition to motherhood can be an exciting yet vulnerable time filled with a range of emotions, and they want to make sure all women and families have access to the education and support they need throughout this time. Both Samantha & Catherine are known for their friendly, compassionate and approachable nature as well as their commitment to ongoing education and love for their profession. They both feel that the work they get to do with families is an honour and look forward to joining you on this journey

Lactation Consultant services

Samantha completed her Bachelor of Nursing in Tasmania in 2013 before moving to Sydney where she has since completed her Graduate Diploma in Midwifery and Graduate Certificate in Perinatal Mental health. She has worked between public and private sectors throughout her career, gaining valuable experience in both midwifery and nursing. She is also a Internation Board Certified Lactation Counsultant Samantha understands that the journey through pregnancy, birth and the transition to motherhood while exciting, can be overwhelming, and is passionate about working with women and families to support and empower them through the experience. Samantha takes a compassionate, holistic and woman-centred approach to her practice, and loves all aspect of working with women, babies and families, particularly antenatal education, adapting to a new baby and perinatal mental health. Samantha offers in-home Lactation consults (antenatal/postnatal), perinatal mental health support, respite package and antenatal/postnatal education sessions.
