Hello! I'm Madison, I'm a trained Birth and Postpartum Doula; I am located in San Antonio and serve all of San Antonio and the surrounding communities. I'm passionate about supporting families through one of the most transformative experiences of their lives: childbirth. As a doula, I provide comprehensive support to expectant mothers and their partners before, during, and after childbirth, including invaluable postpartum care. My journey into doula work began after I had my 3rd child and had the amazing opportunity to have a doula for her birth. It made such a difference in my birth experience and helped me avoid having another traumatic birthing experience. Since then, I've dedicated myself to empowering birthing individuals to make informed decisions about their care and to advocate for their birth preferences. I specialize in military family births and postpartum because I was a military spouse and know the hardships that come along with it. In addition to offering emotional and physical support during labor, I also specialize in postpartum care, recognizing the importance of nurturing and assisting families in the delicate weeks following childbirth. From providing breastfeeding support and assisting with newborn care to offering practical assistance with household tasks, I aim to ease the transition into parenthood and ensure that families feel supported and cared for during this vulnerable time. I believe that postpartum support is just as vital as prenatal and birth support, and I'm committed to providing compassionate care that honors the unique needs of each family. Whether you're navigating the challenges of breastfeeding, struggling with postpartum mood disorders, or simply in need of a listening ear and a helping hand, I'm here to offer nonjudgmental support and guidance every step of the way. Hey, I’m Tess! I’m a birth and postpartum doula and placenta encapsulation specialist. I’ve been a birth worker since 2020 and have been serving moms in San Antonio since 2021. I married my best friend and we are raising our 4 beautiful kids, 2 of them are autistic, along with a few chickens. We love spending our time outside whenever we can whether that’s in the garden, on a trail or at the park. My aunt had 2 home births when I was a kid so from an early age I knew birth was beautiful, normal, and full of options and choices. When I got pregnant with my first, I researched everything from birth to baby soap but I still felt unsupported, uneducated and unprepared- especially as a first time mom and military wife with no family near me. I went a different route with my second birth which led me to dive deeper into the birth world and eventually becoming a doula was a natural next step for the knowledge and passion I was starting to culture and grow into. Knowing firsthand how important it is to feel seen, heard, supported, prepared and encouraged- I get the privilege of working with families to help them achieve that. I love getting to walk alongside families through such a life changing transition. Placenta encapsulation allows me to offer a different kind of support where I can also honor and memorialize something that sustained life and connected mom to baby before they ever got to meet each other.

Hello! I’m Gabrielle and I am a birth and postpartum doula. I was born and raised in a small town near Los Angeles, California and moved to Texas to open the first few In N Out Burgers in San Antonio. I met my husband and moved back to California to be more close to my family, but missed Texas- so we are back again! I have a husband, 2 kids, dogs, cats, and chickens. We are very active with our local shelter and almost always have a foster animal, or 3. For 2 years we lived in an RV traveling to 12 states, and we would love to see more. I homeschool my children, and in my free time I love to travel, explore nature, listen to music, and catch up on TV. I have a bachelor’s degree and I am currently going to school to become a Registered Nurse. After my second child, I realized how important it is to have a village. I believe if I had a postpartum doula, my fourth trimester would have been completely different. There are so many women that don’t have a good support system, even though everyone deserves one. Being able to help my family members and friends who were postpartum has been such a rewarding experience; it led me to seek out formal training in doula work so I could make a career out of helping people. I am a planner and love doing research. Even though birth is very unpredictable, I love being able to inform parents of their options, advocate for them, and be the calm in the storm. I have experience in creating birth plans, different positions to help labor progress, postpartum planning, newborn care, and breastfeeding.
