I'm Jenn Smith, a certified Pospartum Doula and Birth Doula and the founder of Goodnight Bloom Doula LLC, a premier doula service in San Diego, California. With a passion for supporting families through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period, I bring over 20 years of expertise, compassion and a personalized approach to every family. Drawing from my extensive experience, I am dedicated to empowering parents with knowledge, confidence, and hands-on care during one of life's most transformative moments. My journey into birth work has been deeply personal, as I became a mother at seventeen and just recently welcomed a new baby to my family last summer. Born and raised in southern Illinois and married to my wife who grew up in Israel, I blend Midwestern warmth with global perspective in every birth I attend. Having experienced motherhood as a teenager and supporting my wife through her cesarean journey, I understand firsthand the many ways birth can unfold. Hi! I'm a Doula of 5+years having received DONA training and UCSD training for birth doula and lactation. I'm currently practicing as a Full Spectrum Doula and would like to focus on Birth Doula and Postpartum night Doula services. I have an emphasis on the gap in care for marginalized women getting the care and support they deserve. I am a very open minded, caring individual who has worked with a variety of individuals from very diverse backgrounds and needs. I specialize in aiding high risk cases and I I lead with love and support from a non judgmental lens. Prenatal care is available to those individuals who have previous negative experiences and/or mental blockages. Hi! My name is Julianna, and I am a birth + postpartum doula and reproductive health educator based in San Diego, California. I am deeply passionate about supporting people through their fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and transition into parenthood with care that is informed, grounded, and non-judgmental. My approach blends evidence-based education with intuitive, hands-on support, honoring both the physiological process of birth and the emotional experience that comes with it. I believe that when parents feel informed, respected, and supported in their choices, birth and postpartum can feel more empowering and less overwhelming. I strive to create a calm, affirming space where clients feel safe to ask questions, explore options, and trust their bodies. In addition to doula care, my background in fertility awareness and reproductive health education shapes how I support clients holistically—from conception and pregnancy through postpartum recovery. In my free time, I love being outdoors, moving my body, and grounding myself in simple routines that nourish both body and mind.

I've been a birth doula for 35 years (I started young!) and I am also a childbirth educator. I got into doula work to advocate so that you can have the best birth possible. I am certified in Spiningbabies, the Rebozo Technique and in Acupuncture. I have always said.....this is your baby, your body and your birth and I'm there to support you in however and wherever you want to birth. I want to make sure that your spouse/partner also feels supported and cared for also. I live in Oceanside and serve San Diego County.

I discovered a passion for caring for Moms and Dads while helping my daughter give birth to my first grandson. I am interested in keeping you comfortable, getting you the birth you want, and helping to defend your birth plan. I am a Spinning Babies Parent Educator (provisional), advanced VBAC doula and retired Hypnobabies instructor. I am also trained for the use of TENS in birth. In short I employ everything I can find to keep you safe, comfortable and calm. With over 9 years experience and helping with more than 110 babies, I would love to help you welcome your little one.
