We plan to give birth at Emory Hosptial Johns Creek. We are not sure yet if we need a birth doula but would love to see our options. We would like to work with a postpartum night doula and see our options especially when it comes to breastfeeding.

I am looking for a doula for the last month of my pregnancy, as just some extra support through the birthing process. My family (mom,sisters) all live in Pennsylvania so it’s just me and my husband. He has been great but having someone who knows a lot about birth I think would help me feel more comfortable since this is my first pregnancy.

I will avoid induction, breaking my water manually, episiotomy unless absolutely necessary. I prefer spontaneous pushing and birthing standing or squatting. I desire delayed clamping, my partner cutting the cord, skin to skin contact immediately after birth, delayed routine procedures, and I will save my placenta.

I plan to give birth at home unmedicated. With payment plans that align with insurance.
