I want a hospital birth with an epidural. As a first time Mom with no experience in births or hospitals or babies, the idea of having someone who knows what is happening and what is going to happen sounds like a comfort. I also like the idea of having someone come into my home with a new baby to provide suggestions on breastfeeding, sleep schedules, etc.

We are planning to give birth at a hospital, ideally one with a strong reputation for maternal care, low intervention rates, and access to a NICU if needed.
