This is my second pregnancy and I had painful hemorrhoids for months with my first. I also damaged my pelvic floor and the healing process took a long time. I plan to have a low dose epidural. I don’t care for overly fear based approaches, being strictly natural or worrying about things that have a low likelihood so I’ll do well with someone who is down to earth, practical and open to various approaches to labor.

I live in Coleraine, MN and will give birth at Grand Itasca in Grand Rapids, MN. I want to have as natural of a birth as possible. This is our first baby so I am looking into all options. I was watching a natural birthing course that suggested getting a Doula so I wanted to look into it. We are unsure on if we will move forward but wanted to check on pricing, insurance options, and what this process would look like.
