I plan to give birth in a hospital. As of right now, I plan to have an unmedicated birth.

First pregnancy. Will be giving birth in hospital. Estimated budget of $1000-1500. Birth plan would be to stay as natural as possible, but not opposed to medical needs like an epidural if I decide I want one. Whether that be through breathing techniques, deferred sensation like a birth comb, water, etc. Want to avoid a C-section unless emergency demands it. Delayed cord clamp and immediate skin to skin as long as not an emergency. Want to try breastfeeding, and pumping, but not opposed to formula if needed.

Hospital My budget is $300 I plan to birth natural breastfeed and just be healthy while I’m doing it I want to try the squatting position but I am also ok birthing on my back if need be thank you

This is my third pregnancy. My first two were delivered via c-sections with Dr. Ware at memorial hospital. I planned a natural birth with my first but developed preeclampsia towards the end which called for a C-section after the pitocin disturbed her heart rate. The second pregnancy I didn’t want a c-section but towards the end the doctor suggested that it would be the best route due to the history of my first pregnancy. With this pregnancy she announced that c-section would be the plan again but I would really like to see if I’m able to do a natural birth. I’m not high risk for anything. And my blood pressure is okay.

Looking to potentially partner with a midwife during this, my first pregnancy. I will have an obgyn as well but wish to have some one else to support me and that I can ask questions to. If possible, I would love a Christian midwife. Planning on a hospital birth.
