About me

It is no secret that becoming a parent is a challenge, whether it is because of fertility stress or adapting to a new role from pregnancy to new parenthood. There is so much information out there but it can be overwhelming to determine what the best choices are for you and your changing family. As a therapist and postpartum doula in training, I use this mindset in guiding my therapeutic approach. I create a warm atmosphere to explore your thoughts and feelings, those deep concerns as much as the funny stories. I will help you process your feelings related to infertility, pregnancy, and parenthood, how to get on the same page as your partner, and answer all the questions you may have. In sessions, it should feel you are connecting with your impartial close friend who is trained and ready to help you through the next phase of life.

Service introduction

No matter where you are on your parenting journey, it can be helpful to have someone to talk to. An impartial person to listen, validate, offer support, and guidance. I offer individual psychotherapy to support you on this journey, to answer questions you may have, provide guidance and tools, and most importantly a comfortable space for you to open up. Each session is approximately 45minutes, and sessions are at a frequency we discuss when setting your unique goals, though typically are weekly or every other week. In sessions we can explore your fertility journey, parenting, feelings related to pregnancy, or something completely unrelated that has been on your mind. I provide practical tools and tips to help you get through whatever stage you are in, and support you in becoming your strongest, best self. My therapeutic style pulls from all different modalities to meet your unique needs. So what does getting started look like? When you reach out, I will respond to set up an initial, free consultation, which is about 10-15 minutes. At that time, we both assess if we feel comfortable moving forward, and if we agree, then I send over some paperwork, we set a time, and then we meet for our first full session. Sessions are primarily virtual, though I do have offices in Fairfield and Westport if in-person is more your style. Reach out and let's get started on supporting you through this season.
