About me

My name is Destiny Daniels I am a state certified doula. I am a full spectrum perinatal support doula. I would love to assist any person in having the a well-supported perinatal journey. I provide evidence-based information throughout your perinatal period. My desire is for each family to be comfortable and confident in their journey. I am available for home births with a qualified midwife present and hospital births. Services include birth plan, education, pregnancy teas, lactation support and other natural products. My goal is also to provide you with the support and knowledge to feel empowered on your journey.

I offer full spectrum services.

Birth Only

This service is good for those who have had several children and do not need support creating a birth plan or childbirth education. I would be showing up to your labor. I will provide comfort measures, advocacy, and emotional support. I will stay up to 2 hours postpartum, assist with first latch. You will receive 1 in person postpartum visit to discuss your birth and if you have any additional needs.

Full Birth Supprt

Ideal for first time birthers, VBAC clients, or those just needing extra support! You will receive 3 prenatal visits. Childbirth education. I go on call at 37 weeks. Back up doula available if needed. I will arrive at your labor when you are in active labor to provide continuous support and stay up to 2 hours postpartum. I will assist with first latch. I will provide 3 postpartum in-home visits. There is an additional travel fee if you live 20 miles outside of Columbus.

I am currently only offering evening, overnight. $35/hour evening, weekends for min 3 hours. $40/hour overnight minimum 6 hours Additional $10 an hour for twins.

Destiny is an absolute joy to be around. Her calming presence and knowledge about birth is out of this world. Having a baby is already an intimidating experience, but Destiny is able to calm the space and make sure my voice is heard. I would highly recommend Destiny for any person looking for a Doula.

Frequently asked questions

Do you accept payments?

Yes, I offer payment plans. You would pay a non refundable retainer and then break up the remaining payments which are due by the 37th week of pregnancy.

Do you accept insurance?

I do accept Medicaid. As for private insurance clients should reach out to their insurance provider to see if they cover doula services. Some will reimburse you after services are complete. Some allow you to use HSA or FSA.
