John Hopkins Hospital Price: $1,800-2,000 My goal is to have an Unmedicated birth. This will be baby #2 for us. I had a pretty bad experience with my first where my wishes and concerns were completely ignored. I really wish I had someone there to advocate for me when I couldn’t think clearly, my nurse was very evil person and caused a lot of pain and negativity while I was in labor. I get back labor, and the pain is so unbearable I’d really need someone to help me cope and push through! I’d also love a doula who is very informative on certain things hospitals tend to force mothers into. Would love if my doula were seasoned with At least 4 years of experience. I had a very hard time with postpartum recovery which I believe hindered me from being able to breastfeed since I was under so much stress. I would really love to breastfeed this time around.

I need a doula to support my unmedicated birth at a hospital

As a second-time mom, I’m looking for a supportive and reassuring doula who can walk alongside me during this pregnancy and birth. Even though this isn’t my first experience, I still deeply value emotional support, consistent reassurance, and someone who can help me feel calm and confident throughout the process. I would love guidance with preparation, comfort measures during labor, and advocacy if I feel overwhelmed. Most importantly, I’m looking for someone compassionate, grounding, and communicative who will help me feel supported every step of the way.

This will be my first baby and birth, with that being said I’m very unsure about a lot of things. That’s one of the main reasons I’d like a doulas help! I’d love help navigating through This journey with someone that is educated and experienced. I’m planning to give birth at the hospital but am considering no epidural (I would like as little intervention as possible but am open to whatever needs to be done if medically necessary). I’m no sure how much doulas run so I’m just looking I get an estimate on cost before I really consider it.
