About Shelby

I believe God designed women’s bodies to know how to birth naturally, and I am passionate about helping women to have a healthy, positive, and empowering birth experience! I believe in helping women make informed choices for themselves and their babies so they can have the care they want, and helping husbands feel confident and comfortable assisting their wives during labor. I love to create a calming atmosphere and I have many comfort measures in my tool belt to help ease labor pain, progress labor, and help prevent unnecessary intervention!

What to expect

I offer birth doula services, which includes a free consultation, text and phone support throughout pregnancy, 2 prenatal appointments, support throughout active labor and delivery, and a postpartum appointment. I also offer photography services, including (but not limited to) pregnancy announcement, birth, and newborn photos.

Shelby was a wonderful doula! She is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and an overall wonderful support system! She really takes the time to listen to and understand her client and consoles with her knowledge of pregnancy and birth. She helped teach my husband how to be a better support system for me and worked really well with all of the medical staff involved. Shelby was such a blessing to have throughout my pregnancy and birth. I HIGHLY recommended her for anyone looking for a wonderful doula, especially for a reasonable price!
