A birth doula a child birth educator
Providence Medical Hospital in Everett. Budget is between 1500-2000 Dollars.
Hello! I am currently looking for a certified bilingual (Spanish/English) doula for both birth and postpartum support. I would like someone experienced with hospital births, including inductions and C-sections if needed. I am also looking for postpartum support such as newborn care, recovery support, breastfeeding assistance, emotional support, and guidance during the transition after birth. Certification is important, and I would prefer someone with strong communication skills, a calming presence, and experience supporting mothers and families through both labor and postpartum care. Thank you! Diana
I am having my fourth child. I am going to be solo-parenting 3 elementary school aged children (11, 8, and 6) while welcoming my new baby. My current children’s father is not the father of my newest addition. I plan to give a medicated birth at a hospital, Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA. As far as budget goes, I am hoping to find someone covered by my insurance. My birth plan actually needs a lot of planning still. This will be my first unsupported birth. With my previous children I had my partner, mother and usually another female family member. It has been over 6 years since my last birth and I’m open to trying new things like birthing baths and alternative pushing positions. My births have always been short (4-6 hours from start to final push.) I never had any complications after birth or during but did need an iron transfusion before my third child was born, I went into labor the night after receiving the transfusion. I need a lot of guidance and support and will be struggling with anxiety during this pregnancy and birth.
I’m planning on giving birth at home. I need a birth and postpartum doula. How I envision it is she will help me with the birth and take care of me- cook meals, clean kitchen, take care of baby for the next month after I give birth. My budget is $5000 for this entire service
I am a first time mom and my partner is visually impaired. I am plan to give birth in Burien Hospital. I’m not sure what my budget would be right now. I am planning on having a vaginal birth, I want a delayed cord clamping. I want to do a mix of breast feed and formula for my baby. I would say at least 3 years of experience and bilingual with Spanish. I think I would need help with sleep training. I’m not sure how much help I would need with house chores.

Giving birth at UW NW Hospital. I have tricare for insurance
Hi! I’m currently looking for a doula and wanted to share a bit about what I’m hoping for. As a first-time mom, I’m looking for someone with strong labor and delivery experience who can help guide both me and my partner through the process. I’m planning for a likely medicated birth, so I’d love a doula who is supportive of that approach and can help me navigate my options while still advocating for my preferences. It’s really important to me to have someone who can provide both emotional and physical support during labor, as well as offer solid education leading up to delivery so we feel prepared and confident.
I would love a midwife that comes to my home for appointments and approaches things holistically. Someone who supports a physiological birth and knows what she is doing. Bonus if they are Christian!
-hospital -still deciding -unknown budget at this time
I plan to give birth at home, no medicine. My budget would be anything but of course not spending too much. I would ultimately like to see if insurance can help at all.
HBAC, post natal care. Hoping to work with someone in my network since hbac isn’t covered by insurance. I’m working with foothills midwifery with back up plan to transfer to St. Louis Hospital if I’m risked out of care
I would like to give birth in a birth center with minimal interventions. I want to be really intentional with the interventions and screenings in the prenatal period as well. This is my first pregnancy at age 27, and my husband wants to be involved in the process as much as possible.
Birth Plan: Hospital midwifery center Budget: $1500-$3000 Birth Plan: Unmedicated Christian-religion preferred
My OB says there is a 20% chance she'll be in the room for delivery, apparently that's average. I want someone in the room who is there to uphold my wishes and birth plan. I want a natural birth. I funny want to clamp the cord until it spots pulsing. I'm on the fence about vitamin k. I don't want my baby to be bathed right away, or taken from me. I don't consent to the eye treatment they put on baby, or any vaccines. I need to know there is someone advocating for these choices, and am looking for someone to help me bring our baby into the world who will respect my faith and those choices
