Hi, I’m Sami Austin, based in Redmond. I’m expecting around late December/early January and will be having a C-section at Overlake. I’m looking for postpartum help for the first 2–3 weeks, including newborn care, light meal prep/household help, some support with my 9-year-old, and possibly overnight care. Could you please share your availability, rates, minimum shifts, and any package pricing? Thank you! Sami
I hope you're having a great week! I am currently looking for doula care and wanted to check your availability and service details through the following three questions: Birth Doula Support & Availability: Do you offer birth doula services, and are you available around my estimated due date of December 1st to attend a delivery at Overlake Hospital? Postpartum Doula Support: Do you provide postpartum doula care, and what does your availability look like following a early-December birth? UHC In-Network Status & Coverage Verification: Are you an in-network provider with UnitedHealthcare (UHC)? If so, are you able to contact UHC Provider Services directly to confirm proper billing procedures and verify that both birth and postpartum services are covered under my specific plan? If you are available and able to assist with these, I would love to set up an introductory call to discuss further.
I hope to give birth in a birth center (still looking into one), out of pocket budget for a doula and potentially chiropractor/pelvic floor specialist is ideally no more than $2-4k. Would love a certified doula who has multiple years of experience (as well as certified chiropractor and pelvic floor specialist if my budget/insurance allows), English as primary language. This is my second pregnancy and I am 20 weeks, I am late in the game to look for these specialists because I am just now deciding against a hospital birth this time around. I am 25 years old, mother to a 14 month old, and a devoted Christian (would love a Christian doula). I am not seeking any other help besides a birth doula and other physical specialists if feasible.
