Hello! We will be first time parents and would love to work with a doula who can support through birth and after. There's so much we don't know and I personally could use support developing a birth plan, coaching through the delivery, breastfeeding and post-partum recovery. Our families do not live in WA and this will also be the first grandchild on both sides, so I'm hoping a doula can really provide that expertise and reassurance for all the things that are bound to come up! We live in [personal details hidden] but I'll be delivering at UW Montlake since I am working with an MFM to manage [personal details hidden] and pregnancy. [personal details hidden] so I've had a normal pregnancy so far, but there's always a chance that could change. [personal details hidden] so we love an evidence based approach and good synergy with our clinical teams, but I'm also really looking for someone who can be a patient advocate, coach and emotional support beyond what the hospital staff can do. That continuity before, during and after pregnancy will be amazing. We have so much to learn and look forward to working with an experienced doula!

This is my third baby, with my previous two the environment wasn’t really all I wanted and I would love the mental help while giving birth and being in labor, I plan to do another hospital birth and all natural as I have done with my previous two as well. I'm expecting my first baby, with a due date of March 9, 2027, and I'm planning to deliver at UW Medical Center – Northwest in Seattle.
