I have no idea what doulas do. I’m interested in learning more about what services are available. I am pregnant with my 4th child and single this time around. Delivering at capital medical center. Between Christmas and Jan 6th. I’m 42. This pregnancy is different for me because I’m doing it alone. Overwhelmed at home.

I plan to give birth at a hospital (at Multicare Capital Medical Center). My insurance covers $2000 for a doula. I do not know my birth plan yet.

I am looking for a birth doula for a first time mother, I will be attempting to give birth in a hospital (preferably a baby friendly hospital in Kirkland, to promote breastfeeding) but i want to avoid medications and surgeries if possible. I dont have a set budget, I will be saving for this during the next few months and asking my family for assistance if they have anything to help. I am 27, this would be my first birth and I am epileptic (currently medication controlled but still a risk) I dont think I could afford any other services or aid unless it is out of the goodness of your heart.

We live in lacey washington and plan to give birth at Tacoma general. Husband is active duty military and we have tri-care select. We plan on doing an epidural free birth.

I want to try laboring in the tub if needed, just no medications, delayed cord clamping, golden hour skin to skin and absolutely no episiotomy

Hi ! My wife and I are local to Northeast Tacoma, and we’re expecting our first child on September 21, 2026. I wanted to reach out to learn more about your postpartum doula services and see what your availability looks like over the next few months. We’re especially interested in overnight support after the baby arrives. Since this is our first child, we would really value someone who can help us feel more confident during the newborn stage, support us with nighttime care and feeding routines, and help us understand what is normal as we adjust to life with a new baby. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can assist with things such as soothing and settling the baby, diaper changes, bottle preparation or bringing the baby to my wife for breastfeeding, burping, helping the baby return to sleep, washing bottles or pump parts, and offering practical guidance when needed. We would also appreciate support that allows my wife to recover and both of us to get more consistent rest. We’re still figuring out exactly how many nights per week and how long we would need support, so we’d love to hear about the schedules and packages you offer. Could you please let us know your availability around late September and October, your overnight rates, minimum-hour requirements, and whether you provide an initial consultation?
