I am having a low risk very healthy pregnancy and would like to do a home water birth completely unmedicated and 0 interventions but am in need of some support from a professional midwife and/or doula as this is my first baby.

Hi ! My wife and I are local to Northeast Tacoma, and we’re expecting our first child on September 21, 2026. I wanted to reach out to learn more about your postpartum doula services and see what your availability looks like over the next few months. We’re especially interested in overnight support after the baby arrives. Since this is our first child, we would really value someone who can help us feel more confident during the newborn stage, support us with nighttime care and feeding routines, and help us understand what is normal as we adjust to life with a new baby. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can assist with things such as soothing and settling the baby, diaper changes, bottle preparation or bringing the baby to my wife for breastfeeding, burping, helping the baby return to sleep, washing bottles or pump parts, and offering practical guidance when needed. We would also appreciate support that allows my wife to recover and both of us to get more consistent rest. We’re still figuring out exactly how many nights per week and how long we would need support, so we’d love to hear about the schedules and packages you offer. Could you please let us know your availability around late September and October, your overnight rates, minimum-hour requirements, and whether you provide an initial consultation?

We need a doula who is well versed in hospital care, rules and procedures to help ease our minds during labor in hospital. We would like to do an unmediated birth and would like someone who can help coach and exhaust all holistic methods of induction before seeking strong medication. We would also appreciate any knowledge given before or after birth in terms of taking care of mum and baby as we are first time parents. I'm giving birth at home (Federal Way). It's my first baby. My care team so far consists of my husband, parents, and sisters. I am confident in my plan for an undisturbed physiological birth and so far have had a hard time finding a like-minded midwife or doula, but would love to be supported by a more knowledgeable and experienced woman. I have no idea what such a thing would cost but am open to paying for quality care.

Plan to give birth in the hospital and I don’t have a huge budget but it depends. I don’t have a solid birth plan but i definitely want the epidural and the shots and eye ointment for my baby.
