It’s really important to me to have someone who can provide both emotional and physical support during labor, as well as offer solid education leading up to delivery so we feel prepared and confident.

Hi ! My wife and I are local to Northeast Tacoma, and we’re expecting our first child on September 21, 2026. I wanted to reach out to learn more about your postpartum doula services and see what your availability looks like over the next few months. We’re especially interested in overnight support after the baby arrives. Since this is our first child, we would really value someone who can help us feel more confident during the newborn stage, support us with nighttime care and feeding routines, and help us understand what is normal as we adjust to life with a new baby. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can assist with things such as soothing and settling the baby, diaper changes, bottle preparation or bringing the baby to my wife for breastfeeding, burping, helping the baby return to sleep, washing bottles or pump parts, and offering practical guidance when needed. We would also appreciate support that allows my wife to recover and both of us to get more consistent rest. We’re still figuring out exactly how many nights per week and how long we would need support, so we’d love to hear about the schedules and packages you offer. Could you please let us know your availability around late September and October, your overnight rates, minimum-hour requirements, and whether you provide an initial consultation?

My partner is schizoeffective and I would like a doula who is well educated and experienced in mental health so that it will better help me through the delivery. Tacoma general, hopefully keeping it to a minimum but i want to give birth i medicated. I make it to a 9 every time with no epidural but not the right support. I want to try laboring in the tub if needed, just no medications, delayed cord clamping, golden hour skin to skin and absolutely no episiotomy

I am confident in my plan for an undisturbed physiological birth and so far have had a hard time finding a like-minded midwife or doula, but would love to be supported by a more knowledgeable and experienced woman. I am giving birth at Foothills Midwifery. My official due date is August 4, 2026, but I have always been early by 10-15 days. I need my insurance plan accepted which is the Community Health Plan of Washington. I want a holistic approach and full support during labor and delivery and for some time afterwards as well. I would like my spouse and 3 other children to be involved as well if possible.
