Hi ! My wife and I are local to Northeast Tacoma, and we’re expecting our first child on September 21, 2026. I wanted to reach out to learn more about your postpartum doula services and see what your availability looks like over the next few months. We’re especially interested in overnight support after the baby arrives. Since this is our first child, we would really value someone who can help us feel more confident during the newborn stage, support us with nighttime care and feeding routines, and help us understand what is normal as we adjust to life with a new baby. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can assist with things such as soothing and settling the baby, diaper changes, bottle preparation or bringing the baby to my wife for breastfeeding, burping, helping the baby return to sleep, washing bottles or pump parts, and offering practical guidance when needed. We would also appreciate support that allows my wife to recover and both of us to get more consistent rest. We’re still figuring out exactly how many nights per week and how long we would need support, so we’d love to hear about the schedules and packages you offer. Could you please let us know your availability around late September and October, your overnight rates, minimum-hour requirements, and whether you provide an initial consultation?

-hospital birth - budget is $1200 -I have midwife at Providence in Everett. I am wanting an epidural for my birth. This is my first child so I am nervous for my birth.

We plan on giving birth at true north birthing center in Poulsbo. Budget is between $1000-1500 (if it’s a one time fee). Plan currently is to go home almost immediately after birth and get settled. We have a 14 month old who will be 16 months by the new baby’s birth, and dad will be home on leave to take care of him so he’ll just need the extra support from a doula to take care of me for the first two weeks. She has necessary midwife certifications with 2+ years of experience. Only needs to be fluent in English. I’m 26 and a stay at home mom. No special needs just basically need the additional emotional and physical support that comes along with a new baby! Only additional responsibilities to taking care of myself and the new baby is helping my fiancé with house tidiness if he’s completely overwhelmed

I plan to give birth at st Micheal’s in Silverdale. I am a high risk pregnancy, looking for emotional help and guidance. I have a 1 year old and the birth was traumatic. Just need a support system to help, not 100% what exactly I need but I had a doula as a nurse at the hospital and she made me so comfortable, looking for that again this pregnancy.

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced postpartum doula to help support our family after the arrival of our baby. We would ideally like someone with postpartum doula training or certification and several years of experience caring for newborns. Current infant CPR and First Aid certification is strongly preferred, along with excellent references and a background check. We are looking for someone who is confident with newborn care, including diapering, soothing, bottle feeding, burping, safe sleep practices, and helping establish healthy newborn sleep routines. Experience supporting formula feeding would be a plus. We want someone who is supportive of our choices and takes a calm, nonjudgmental approach to caring for our baby. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is trustworthy, patient, dependable, and easy to have in our home. We would love a doula who can provide guidance when we need it while also respecting our preferences and helping us become more confident as new parents. Our estimated budget is $35–$50 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, responsibilities. We are open to discussing rates with the right person.

Just found out I'm pregnant, and I'm looking for a doula who can be by my side during prenatal and during birth. My husband gets queasy and faints at the sight of blood, so I need an active helper by my side! I hope to give birth at the Everett Providence Hospital vaginally with pain relief meds, but I do want centering and holistic birthing practices used as well. I'm only 6 weeks pregnant, so I don't have too many details figured out, but with this being my first pregnancy, having a large support team is important to me. I would like to establish a relationship with a doula before birth so that I know somewhat what to expect in care during birth and post-birth. I am also interested in home visits post-taking the baby home so that I can make sure I can shower and such while the baby is looked after. My partner is schizoeffective and I would like a doula who is well educated and experienced in mental health so that it will better help me through the delivery. Also I’m looking for someone who can assist me in understanding everything because I’m a first time mom. I have United Health Care through Washington Apple health. I plan on giving birth in a hospital.

Tacoma general, hopefully keeping it to a minimum but i want to give birth i medicated. I make it to a 9 every time with no epidural but not the right support. I want to try laboring in the tub if needed, just no medications, delayed cord clamping, golden hour skin to skin and absolutely no episiotomy
