I would love to be able to go through my insurance if possible. And I am having my baby at the Simi Valley Birthing Center. I haven't written out a birth plan yet as I am still more than 4 months away. I just turned [personal details hidden]. and My husband and i speak English. This is our First Baby.
Hi! I’m a [personal details hidden] married mom of a 2-year-old, currently pregnant with my second baby and [personal details hidden]. I’m a Christian, and I’m really looking for a doula who can support me physically, emotionally, and spiritually throughout this pregnancy and birth. I’m hoping to have an unmedicated, natural birth and would love to learn breathing techniques, labor positions, and different coping strategies to help me prepare. I’m honestly scared, and one of my biggest goals is to have a positive birth experience and to avoid tearing entirely if possible. I want to learn everything I can to prepare my body and reduce my risk of tearing. I also want to learn more about nutrition during pregnancy, including organic foods and understanding healthy versus less-healthy carbohydrates. I plan to breastfeed again and would love support with preparing for that as well. I also have questions about healthy weight management during pregnancy and postpartum and would love guidance on how to safely care for my body while making sure my baby is properly nourished. [personal details hidden], but I would like him to be able to learn how to support me during pregnancy and birth if he is willing. I would appreciate a doula who can help educate both of us on what genuine, respectful support can look like during labor and delivery. As a Black mother and woman, I’m also very aware of the disparities and racism Black women can face within the healthcare system. Having someone who can advocate for me, help me understand my options, and make sure my voice is heard and respected during such a vulnerable experience is extremely important to me. I really want to feel safe, informed, empowered, and supported throughout this journey.
First baby, planning a hospital birth at Los Robles in Thousand Oaks. Hoping for an unmedicated, low-intervention birth with freedom to move, a water tub if available, and my husband as my primary support person (hoping he gets to catch the baby). Open to nitrous oxide, but want to avoid the Epidural as well as Pitocin unless medically necessary. After birth I'd like delayed cord clamping, immediate skin-to-skin, and a hands-off approach to the placenta unless intervention's needed. I'd also love postpartum support to help us through early recovery and newborn care. Budget: covered under Gold Coast Health Plan (Medi-Cal), so looking for providers who accept that coverage.
I plan on giving birth at Kaiser Woodland Hills location. I'd like to go all natural. I want to get help with breastfeeding.
I just need someone who I feel can educate me on what I don’t know and someone who is interested in helping me advocate for myself. I keep feeling like the medical industry isn’t interested in helping me and I just want someone who cares about helping and wants to be there
Scheduled to have the baby at the Newport Beach Hoag. Trying to find out how much a doula costs with my insurance for some extra support because id like to go unmedicated if I can. My insurance is blue shield CA and the Gold 80Trio hmo plan
This is my second pregnancy I’m 38 weeks pregnant now. My first was vaginal birth. This time I will be having a scheduled C-Section, my babygirl didn’t go head down so [personal details hidden]. I’m looking for help, support, assistance, more info on what to do after surgery & how to heal better. Having night time care while I heal would be nice. Maybe twice a week.
Asking to see if we can have Doula help us out postpartum for baby needs and my wife's needs. [personal details hidden] with Tricare Prime and my wife is on a Tricare Select.
5 week old gets frustrated breastfeeding and sometimes only eats for a short time. Baby is also bottle fed breast milk and formula. Sometimes it doesn't seem like his mouth opens wide enough for a good latch. Also want help with incorporating pumping. In-person visit initially. Blue Shield PPO. 250-300 budget.
We will be giving birth a kaiser riverside. [personal details hidden], second time mom and I felt very unprepared and uneducated during my first birth. We'd like someone to be there to help us navigate the second birth
Second pregnancy, twin pregnancy. Mostly want assistance understanding my options so I can make educated decisions for myself and my children during and following birth. I would also like guidance to ease the discomfort and pain experienced during the end of this pregnancy and during birth. Lastly, I would appreciate someone who can help me navigate breastfeeding and pumping for twins, especially since I have a rocky history with breastfeeding and pumping for my first born. Someone well versed with twin pregnancies would be highly appreciated.
Hi, this is my second pregnancy. However, I had a twin vaginal birth in 2014, so it’s been so long that it feels like my first! This time around, I’m aiming for as unmedicated as possible and I’m looking for a support person during birth, as well as postpartum for assistance with lactation and sleep. My husband is a firefighter so he won’t be around much postpartum, so I would like as much support as possible this time. I’d like to stay around 1500 to 2000 if that’s possible and I’d like to see if it’s covered some by insurance. We have CIGNAPPO.
