1.hospital 2. Insurance 3. Shooting for a 100% normal, tear-free delivery of my 2nd baby!
We are planning to give birth at a hospital, ideally one with a strong reputation for maternal care, low intervention rates, and access to a NICU if needed. Our estimated budget for doula and postpartum support is between $1,500 and $3,500 depending on experience, services included, and level of support provided before and after delivery. Our birth plan is centered around a calm, low-intervention experience. We prefer an unmedicated vaginal birth if possible, but we are open to medical interventions if they become necessary for the safety of the baby or mother. We would like continuous labor support, encouragement with breathing and positioning, and an advocate who can help communicate our preferences with medical staff. Delayed cord clamping, immediate skin-to-skin contact, and support with initiating breastfeeding are very important to us. For the provider, we are looking for someone who is a certified doula (such as DONA or CAPPA certified) with at least 3–5 years of experience and multiple births attended. We strongly prefer someone who is calm under pressure, highly communicative, and experienced with hospital births. It would be a bonus if the provider speaks Spanish as a second language to help support extended family members. The care recipient is a newborn, and we are first-time parents. We would appreciate guidance on feeding (primarily breastfeeding), soothing techniques, and establishing healthy sleep habits. There are no known special needs at this time, but we value a provider who can adapt if circumstances change. Additional duties we are interested in include light housekeeping related to the baby (washing bottles, baby laundry), meal prep for the mother during postpartum recovery, and some support with sleep training or establishing routines. Flexibility in scheduling and availability for overnight support a few times per week would be ideal.
First time pregnancy I would like guidance, reassurance, and someone knowledgeable and can teach me things I should know as a first time mother. My budget is very low im not sure how much these type of things cost but I would like to take as much care as possible.

Hospital. 2000$. Vaginal. need someone to assist with postpartum care
i need a doula i plan to give birth at texas childrens pavilion for women
I want a hospital birth with an epidural. As a first time Mom with no experience in births or hospitals or babies, the idea of having someone who knows what is happening and what is going to happen sounds like a comfort. I also like the idea of having someone come into my home with a new baby to provide suggestions on breastfeeding, sleep schedules, etc.
Still early but wanting a hospital birth with doula support, and also want a night nurse / doula for post-birth. Budget TBD.
I am a 41 year-old high risk pregnancy. Patient that is 30 weeks pregnant. Diagnosed with high blood pressure, gestational, diabetes, and Cholestasis of Pregnancy . I feel like my voice is not being heard by my providers.
Plan to give birth at the hospital, I’m not sure on budget and I’m a first time mom who doesn’t have family near by. I’d love support on how to prepare for vaginal birth in the easiest/smoothest way, how to recover post partum, and newborn tips
Hi!! I am looking for a doula to help me create a birth plan, be with me through labor and to help post partum. I plan on giving birth at the hospital (st Luke’s sugarland)
This is my first baby. My family lives in California and I live in Long Beach. So I’m in need of learning the do’s and don’ts of childbirth and afterbirth care. Also prepping my body for delivery. Ideally I would like to have a water birth because it seems safer for the baby and I. By research I’ve seen most doula’s cost $25 an hour. I do have insurance and I’m hoping that can help with the finances.
Day time Duola to help us on during the first month and is our first baby. 2-4 hours a day.
Hospital birth, first time moms, LGBTQ+ family, 39 years old, unsure of budget as just starting out, ideal birth plan is vaginal birth without epidural (and tearing) but I’m very interested in nitros as pain management. I really want to find someone who is experienced in births to understand me and my family’s desires and to not be railroaded into decisions I’m not comfortable with or don’t understand all my options at the hospital.
Looking for occasional daytime help For my daughter, a single first time mom. Would love a visit 1-2 days after returning home with baby, then a few more visits over next 3 weeks. Someone who can assist with breastfeeding (not necessarily certified lactation consultant) is a plus. She will have overnight help for me but we will need daytime backup support occasionally.
I am a single mom and I need support at home after I have the baby. To support me in rest and recovery, light house work, etc. it's my first baby and I am 41. The father left us. I live with my 71 year old mother.
I need help during labor process, vaginal no tear
1. Texas children’s hospital 2. We want a night doula or someone who can help with night time for the first 6 weeks, as I recover during this process. I will breastfed during the day and formula at night. 9pm-9am 3. I am a first time mom so I am not sure what the pricing/budget is. Since this is for 6 weeks, we were thinking $1500-$2000.
Looking for someone to help us take care of the baby and mommy’s needs overnight so we can get good sleep and recovery. Will also want help sleep training the baby.
