About me

I’m here to make you feel empowered, supported, and heard through your journey of birth and postpartum. This is my mission due to my birth and postpartum experiences. I had a traumatic first birth that ended in an emergency c-section. Postpartum Recovery was even more difficult without the support I truly needed. When I was ready to try for a second baby, I miscarried. It took a lot out of me, to get the answers I needed to explain why I miscarried and to find a provider who was going to be safe for me. I knew I wanted a doula and the right birth team that would support me through a VBAC. My team heard me and created space for me to achieve a dream birth!

Service introduction

Birth doula As a labor doula, I will provide the support that you are looking for to have a positive birth experience. I will be your and your partner’s emotional, physical and informational support during your pregnancy, labor and delivery. Postpartum doula My focus during postpartum support is to help you process you birth and help you and your family adjust to a routine with a new born. My expertise are in infant care, lactation support, sleep shaping, and general coping skills to help you adjust to as parents. I also love to cook and bake so you don’t have to worry about that as a new parent. Sibling doula Whether you are planning your birth at a hospital birth, birth center, or your home, I will be available to care for your older children while you have your new baby. It has been challenging with COVID to have the family support that you need, but having a trusting doula that is available for an extended period of time is reassuring.
