About Sunni
With a name like "Sunni (the Doula)," I am looking to do what I can to bring the sunshine to one's birthing experience. I decided to become a full-spectrum doula with the belief that if my experiences, my care, my love, my knowledge, and my passion could help give someone the birthing experience that they desired and deserved, then I wanted to be a part of that journey. As someone with a "community-based" mindset, I truly believe that it takes a village, and I see my client's as family. You all share the most vulnerable and genuine parts of yourselves and your experience with me, and in return, you are provided with genuine love, support, and care. I am a lover of all things beauty and finding the beauty in all; so being out in nature, spending time with loved ones, and crafting in creating in a variety of different lenses is important to me.

Sunni's Birth Planning Session
A focused, personalized session designed to help you feel clear, informed, and prepared as you approach labor. Together, we’ll explore your birth preferences, create a plan that reflects your needs, review your rights in the birthing space, and discuss ways to communicate and advocate for your care. We’ll also walk through possible birth scenarios so you and your partner can feel more confident navigating decisions and unexpected changes. This session includes a follow-up planning session + a final draft of your birth plan. Session Length: 60–90 minutes (virtual or in-person)
Sunni's Comfort Measures Session
A personalized, in-home session focused on building confidence, connection, and practical support as you prepare for labor. Together, we’ll explore how labor may unfold, revisit your comfort preferences, and practice hands-on techniques—so both you and your partner feel grounded, prepared, and supported going into birth. Ideal for families who want additional hands-on preparation beyond their prenatal visit. Session time: 90-120 minutes
Sunni's Postpartum Preparation Session
Prepare for life after birth with a personalized postpartum planning session designed to help you navigate the transition into parenthood with greater confidence and peace of mind. Together, we'll create a thoughtful plan that supports your recovery, your newborn, and your family's unique needs. This session includes: - Personalized planning for your physical and emotional postpartum recovery - Infant feeding education and guidance tailored to your feeding goals - Newborn care basics, including soothing, diapering, sleep expectations, and what to expect during the early weeks - Planning for your support system, household routines, and practical postpartum needs - Evidence-based resources and recommendations to help you feel informed and prepared Whether you're welcoming your first baby or growing your family, this session is designed to help you enter the postpartum period with realistic expectations, trusted guidance, and a plan that feels right for you. Session time: 90-120 minutes
Essential Birth Experience
The Essential Birth Experience is for families who want steady, personalized support without feeling overwhelmed by the process. From preparing for birth and talking through your options to navigating labor and reflecting on your experience afterward, you’ll have someone in your corner who knows you, understands what matters to you, and is prepared to support you through each stage. This package offers a thoughtful balance of preparation, continuous labor support, and postpartum reflection—so you can approach birth feeling informed, cared for, and confident in the support surrounding you. This package includes: - One in-home Birth Planning Session (60-90 minutes) - Guidance throughout pregnancy via phone, text, email, and your secure client portal - On-call availability from 36–42 weeks - Early labor guidance via phone, text, or video - Continuous labor and birth support (up to 16 hours) - Immediate postpartum support for up to 2 hours following birth - One virtual Birth Reflection Session (60-90 minutes)
Signature Birth Experience
The Signature Birth Package builds on the care provided in the Essential Birth Package by adding dedicated comfort measures preparation, postpartum planning, and enhanced postpartum follow-up—creating a more comprehensive experience for families who want additional support before and after birth. This package includes: - One in-home Birth Planning Session (60-90 minutes) - One in-home Comfort Measures Session (60-90 minutes) - One virtual Prenatal check-in (30 minutes) - One Virtual Postpartum Planning Session (60-90 minutes) - Ongoing guidance throughout pregnancy via phone, text, email, and your secure client portal - On-call availability from 36–42 weeks - Early labor guidance via phone, text, or video - Continuous labor and birth support (up to 16 hours) - Immediate postpartum support for up to 2 hours following birth - One in-home Birth Reflection & Postpartum Visit (60-90 minutes)
Daytime Postpartum Doula Care
Daytime Postpartum Doula Support Holistic, hands-on support centered around both parent and baby during the postpartum transition. May include: - Newborn care education - Feeding and pumping support - Emotional postpartum support - Infant soothing techniques - Routine and rhythm support - Light baby-related tidying - Meal/snack preparation - Baby laundry and organization - Pump part and bottle washing - Support while parents rest or shower - Sibling adjustment support Booking & Rates: - 4-hours of daytime support $40–$45/hour (depending on your location)
Overnight Postpartum Doula Care
Overnight care focuses primarily on newborn care and helping families receive more restorative rest during the newborn stage. May include: - Responsive overnight infant care - Bottle feeding support - Diapering, burping, soothing, and resettling - Bringing baby to parent for feeds if desired - Overnight feeding/sleep tracking - Bottle and pump part washing/sanitizing - Maintaining a calm overnight environment Overnight support is intentionally more focused in scope and centers primarily on infant sleep support and overnight newborn care. Booking & Rates: - 8–10 hour overnight shifts $45-50 (depending on your location)
Date Night Support
Pre-scheduled care designed to give parents space to step away, rest, reconnect, or simply take time for themselves with peace of mind. Ideal for: - Evenings out - Intentional time away from home - Rest and reconnection - Events, appointments, or short breaks Families can expect attentive, nurturing care for their baby within a familiar, calm, and supportive environment while they are away. Booking & Rates: - 4-hour increments | $40/hr Multiple sessions may also be reserved in advance for families seeking recurring or ongoing support.
Parent's Helper
Practical, non-doula support designed to help ease the day-to-day load within the home. May include: - Errands - Light household tasks - Tidying and organization - Assistance with daily routines - Extra helping hands around the home This service is intended for practical household support and does not include newborn care, postpartum doula support, or specialized infant care. Multiple sessions may be booked in advance for families seeking recurring support. Booking & Rates: - 2/3-hour increments | $30 - 35/hr (depending on your location)
