About me

Hi! My name is Synthia Torres, I live in Plaquemine, Louisiana. I'm a certified birth and postpartum doula. I want to bring more joy and preparedness to parents during birth and after delivery. I found this passion through my own pregnancies, as well as supporting family and friends through their own birth experiences. I love sharing my knowledge and being able to support people during this journey. As the oldest daughter in a large family, taking care of others comes naturally to me, as well as advocating for others. I keep my business judgment free and supportive to everyone. I also love spending time at home with my 3 kids, going out with my husband, and can usually be found cuddling with my dog or cat with a good book and a hot coffee.

Service introduction

I am a birth and postpartum doula. I focus on educating, supporting, and advocating for parents during pregnancy, labor and delivery, as well as after baby is born. I am prepared to coach parents during delivery and help get into a routine once baby is born. I can attend prenatal appointments, keep track of any questions you have for your midwife or Obgyn. You can call or text me at any time, day or night, for any questions you have or to help ease any worries you have. After baby is born I can come over at whatever the most difficult time is for you with baby to offer hands on support, whether thats meal prepping, or helping with night time feeds and cleaning bottles.
