I'm planning on giving birth at a hospital (AdventHealth Wesley Chapel). I'm hoping to find someone in my area who takes Medicaid (FL Aetna Better Health). My biggest reasons for looking into doulas is because I have had a life-long struggle with depression and anxiety and pregnancy has definitely heightened all of that. I don't have any friends who have been through pregnancy or have kids, so I don't have anyone to go to for guidance other than calling my OB or asking ChatGPT. For the birth plan I would like to be unmedicated for as long as possible (Ive had 2 medicated births) and I would like delayed cord clamping.
