Hi there, I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out because I’m currently looking for a birth doula for my October delivery. I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant with an estimated due date of 10/14. I’m planning to deliver at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence with the midwives at the birthing center, and I’m based in Mansfield, MA. I’m looking for a doula who is experienced with Women & Infants and supportive of a midwife-led birth experience. This is my first baby and pregnancy, so looking for all the advice and support! I have United Healthcare through Harvard Pilgrim, so I’d also love to know whether you accept this insurance, offer reimbursement support, or can provide a superbill. would like to have natural birth in hospital but would like to labor at home as long as possible

I am looking for a doula to accompany me during labor in a hospital setting and to support both me and my partner through decision-making. Since we will not know in advance which doctor will deliver the baby, we would value having a familiar and trusted presence in the room—someone with whom we have already established a relationship. I am seeking guidance in creating a safe and thoughtful birth plan. It is important to me that the doula is open to medical interventions when necessary and can help me make informed, wise decisions throughout the process. I am also looking for postpartum support, including guidance on newborn sleep and lactation. Ideally, the doula would have at least four years of experience.

Birth Plan hospital birth I would like a physiological vaginal birth in a calm, low-stimulation environment. I prefer minimal lighting (dim lights or fairy lights) and a quiet, supportive atmosphere. I request no cervical checks unless medically necessary or unless I give consent. I would like to avoid medical interventions, including induction, artificial rupture of membranes (water breaking), IV fluids, and epidural, unless they are medically necessary or I request it. I would like to be informed and give consent before any interventions are performed. I prefer to labor and push in positions that feel natural to me, following my body’s cues rather than coached pushing. After birth, I would like delayed cord clamping until the cord has completely stopped pulsating. I prefer a natural delivery of the placenta without manual removal or medications, unless medically necessary. I would also like to keep my placenta. Immediately after delivery, I want uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact for at least one hour, and to delay routine newborn procedures unless medically necessary. I understand that situations may arise that require medical intervention. If so, I ask that all options be clearly explained to me and that I am included in decision-making whenever possible. I plan to give birth in hospital with absolutely no interventions. I have Neighborhood Health Plan of RI. My goal is no interventions, and please I would like to work with someone that practices informed consent and will not get personally angry or treat me differently if I deny a given procedure!

I am looking for a doula or midwife to assist in an unmediated hospital vbac. I’m looking for someone who accepts Mass General Brigham insurance. I’m looking for prenatal visits (in person preferably) as well as labor and birth attendance. I’m interested in practicing hypnobirthing but mainly looking to build a strong, supportive, relationship with my doula before birth. Also looking for someone with homeopathic knowledge to help support my pregnancy.
