This will be my 2nd birth. My 1st one was a high risk twin pregnancy that had me impatient at the Fetal Care at Children’s Hospital in Aurora. I found out at 20 weeks we were expecting twins and my plans for a natural birth went out the window. I delivered the twins at 29 w and 6 days via c-section. This go round I’m seeking a VBAC option to redeem my original plans. I live in rural eastern Colorado and so I’m in the process of looking for a hospital close enough to us that has the capabilities to fulfill my wishes. I’m looking into the Greeley/ Ft. Collins area. Because of the amazing intimate care I had at the Fetal Care I desire to have a doula to provide the same feels and experience I had there. My budget is $1,000-$1,800.

1. Uw health, Rockford IL 2.we cannot currently afford out of pocket, but I am insured through BCBS community health plans that could cover the cost of the dula 3. I want to have an unmedicated vback after a breach c section birth for my first child. As natural as possible is my greatest goal.

First time mom, have thyroid nodule from the past that has been in remission till now - 9 weeks pregnant - but want to give birth the most natural and non-medicated way as possible. Interested in delayed cord clamp (more delayed than 1 minute) and no vaccines. So far, plan to give birth in a hospital or birthing center connected or next to a hospital. I’m planning to give birth at Presbyterian Hospital under the care of Dr. Julie Hagood. My husband and I are hoping for a natural birth experience and are looking for a doula who can support and advocate for us through the process. My goal is to have as natural and peaceful a birth as possible. I’d love to work with someone experienced in unmedicated hospital births who can help me prepare mentally and physically, guide us through labor, and ensure that our preferences are respected. I want to hold my baby immediately after birth, no washing, and begin breastfeeding right away. It’s very important to me that no procedures or interventions, either for me or the baby, are done without my consent. I’d also like to discuss newborn procedures (including vaccines) in advance and ensure my wishes are honored. I’m not sure about the typical budget for doula services and would love to learn more about packages and options. I’m looking for a calm, supportive presence who can help my husband and me feel confident, informed, and empowered before and throughout the birth experience.

This will be my first baby and birth, with that being said I’m very unsure about a lot of things. That’s one of the main reasons I’d like a doulas help! I’d love help navigating through This journey with someone that is educated and experienced. I wouldn't say I really have a birth plan, I do however know of some things that I think I’d like from some “research” I’ve been doing. I’m also very open to changes in this depending on what the doula thinks/recommends. I’d love to have an unmedicated birth (in a hospital) as I would feel more settled having that access if anything goes wrong. I would like to be in control of my birth, deciding what position I’m in, letting my water break on its own, no drugs to induce labor, etc.. I want someone by my side who’s educated and who has my best interest in mind; if that makes sense! I’ve heard how doctors love to rush your birth. As far as budget, I’d really love to discuss everything id potentially need or want and we would figure it out from there? I just see so many numbers I’m really unsure what the cost is. Frisco Texas Budget 2k max Wanted to birth in a birthing center but no longer a possibility. Hoping to be as natural as possible, cutting umbilical cord once white. Not wanting loud noises or many people in the room while giving birth. Skin to skin as birthed. Not willing to lay back and wait. I will give birth in a hospital as I am very high risk. I have lost 2 boys at around 24 weeks due to preterm labor. I just got a cervical cerclage to help prevent that this time. I would like to do delayed cord clamping and am not currently going to vaccinate.
