Hi there! I’m planning to use the Tree Of Life Birth Center. I’m wanting to find a doula to help me with knowledge and planning, as well as encouragement with labor. This is my first pregnancy and I’d love to go the all natural route. I know that will be much easier with knowledge and support. I don’t currently have a budget for a doula as I have no idea what to expect.

I am looking for a doula to support a desired natural/unmedicated birth, most likely at a hospital. This is my second birth, second son :) I would love to chat or meet up and get to know you. I’m not sure where I would like to have birth. I don’t know anyone who’s had a home birth and I never really knew that was ever an option. I’m flexible in my budget. This is my first child so I don’t know what to include in my birth plan. I don’t even have an OB yet and I’m 16 weeks.

I would ideally like to have a home birth or go to a birthing center. But also lean toward hospital incase anything were to happen. I don’t know what normal budget for a doula is, I am a first time mom and will do my research on this. I would like to have immediate skin to skin when baby is born. I do not want my baby taken out of the room at all for any reason. I do not want anything done to myself or baby with getting consent and explaining in detail what it is/what it is for. I DO NOT want an episiotomy. I want delayed cord clamping until the cord is no longer pulsating and is white. I want to keep my placenta. I the list goes on and on and I would like to discuss more with whoever I choose as my doula.

Hello! This is my first pregnancy and I’ll admit I’m pretty scared! I have very bad PTSD from multiple sexual assaults so I’m very nervous about what will happen to me. I will be giving birth in Edmonton, I don’t have a birth plan yet, I don’t know where to begin.

I’m thinking of trying a home birth this time around. I don’t know about a budget maybe until I see an estimate, but nothing expensive we’re a one income household.

I am currently planning a hospital birth, but wanting to switch to an at home water birth. My birth plan is an unmedicated, all natural water birth. In a low light, calm, comfortable environment. I’m not exactly sure of my budget honestly.
