I would like to give birth in a hospital or find an adequate birthing center. I would like a provider that is either black or has extensive experience working with pregnant black women. I hope to use my insurance to cover most of the expenses. But I am willing to pay some out of pocket expenses. I am newly pregnant so I do not have a birth plan. I plan to give birth at Northside Atlanta Hospital. My budget is hopefully to be covered by my insurance. (I have CareSource thru Medicaid.) I’m not currently working so I don’t have any money to pay out of pocket unfortunately. My birth plan is that I want to try my best to give birth naturally but I need a coach to help me with breathing and positions.
