I am interested in a midwife/dual with a holistic approach. That will help me to achieve a safe and unmediated birth. I have had o e prior child as a vaginal birth, I labored for over 24hrs, did end up with an epidural at 9.5cm (I did not want one), had a 2nd sac of water, and did have a tear. I did not want to push on my back and made that clear, it didn’t change anything, I asked for delayed cord clamping, it did not change anything. I did not have a lot of the things I wanted met.

1.Hospitals 2. I was took Medicaid would cover it 3. I don’t really have a birthing plan.

I plan on giving birth at UT in Knoxville. I’m not sure what budget to plan for. My birth plan is to go as long as possible with out medication but am open to it if needed. I mainly want a spot person there for me.

Hospital birth, I don’t have a birth plan or know how much something like this costs. I just feel like I am not being supported by my OB and I need someone to ask questions to, and get reassurance

I would like to labor majorly in the comfort of my home with my partner, when it is time I would like to go to MMC to birth unmedicated with intermittent monitoring low intervention and preferably not on my back.
