My ideal environment includes dim lighting, soothing music, and a relaxed atmosphere. I am hoping for a natural, low intervention birth (water birth if possible) with a focus on breathing techniques, movement, and holistic comfort measures. I am looking for someone with an earthy, holistic approach who values education, informed consent, and emotional support. I want a doula who will help prepare me mentally and physically before birth and also provide guidance and support postpartum. Advocacy is very important to me I want someone who will help me feel heard, respected, and safe throughout the entire process.
