Hi there! I am planning to give birth at a hospital and have a very flexible birth plan. Doula care is covered in my insurance (BlueCross BlueShield CareNow) and that is where most of the budget is coming from. My main concern with my birth plan is that the baby and I are both safe and healthy. I do have some anxiety around birth and something going wrong, so emotional support is a must for me. My husband and I are first-time parents so I know that he would also like support as he will be my main support system. We do not plan on having any other visitors in the hospital.

I’m planning to give birth at Presbyterian Hospital under the care of Dr. Julie Hagood. My husband and I are hoping for a natural birth experience and are looking for a doula who can support and advocate for us through the process. My goal is to have as natural and peaceful a birth as possible. I’d love to work with someone experienced in unmedicated hospital births who can help me prepare mentally and physically, guide us through labor, and ensure that our preferences are respected. I want to hold my baby immediately after birth, no washing, and begin breastfeeding right away. It’s very important to me that no procedures or interventions, either for me or the baby, are done without my consent. I’d also like to discuss newborn procedures (including vaccines) in advance and ensure my wishes are honored. I’m not sure about the typical budget for doula services and would love to learn more about packages and options. I’m looking for a calm, supportive presence who can help my husband and me feel confident, informed, and empowered before and throughout the birth experience.

First time mom, have thyroid nodule from the past that has been in remission till now - 9 weeks pregnant - but want to give birth the most natural and non-medicated way as possible. I don't mind a hospital birth but I want an advocate there to coach me through labor and make sure the staff carry out my wishes even the baby is born. I want as little medical intervention as possible. I prefer natural medicine in every way. I have no idea what a midwife would cost and that is another concern

I plan to have a home birth. I’m currently considering a birth team, including a doula. I had intended on it being only myself and my husband present however, I don’t want to put 100% of the responsibility of my needs onto him. I intend to free birth with a lotus birth. I am not open to speaking with anyone that doesn’t understand and support that. I am looking for someone who can hold space, who is in tune with their energy, and emotionally support myself and my husband. I intend to exclusively breastfeed. I will be a first time mom. I am 37. I do not Intend on having any medical interventions. I will not need help with my baby but am open to lactation classes. I intend to continue self educating with free-birthing classes and hypno-birthing classes. Aside from emotional support I am also looking for someone who can cook and understands dietary needs for breastfeeding mothers. Currently in research mode at 12 week. No set budget. I am looking to attempt a vbac and I need some support for that. I know that having another c-section is possible but I want to try to avoid if possible. I plan to gift birth in a hospital due to the fact that a repeat c-section is a possibility. All I want is a safe and healthy birth experience.
