As a first time Mom with no experience in births or hospitals or babies, the idea of having someone who knows what is happening and what is going to happen sounds like a comfort. I plan to give birth in a hospital because even though I have a vaginal birth with my 1st I had to have a C-Section with my 2nd because of an accident I had in between them, where I had exploratory surgery and uterus reconstruction. At this time, I’m in a different state of mind, I would say a more conscious view of things and while I wish I can give birth at home I know it would be a risk for me. I don’t have a clear budget because this is my first time doing this, but I’m willing to move forward if I find the right person. My birth plan would be delaying the cordt cutting so the baby can receive complete nutrients and cells that need.
