I had a very traumatic first birth 16 months ago and I would like to go all natural with this baby. I had retained placenta they put in the epidural 6 times before they got it on the 7th try. I had to have a dnc and a unit of blood 5 days postpartum. My iron was low for at least 4 months after birth making it hard to do anything. First pregnancy. Will be giving birth in hospital. Estimated budget of $1000-1500. Birth plan would be to stay as natural as possible, but not opposed to medical needs like an epidural if I decide I want one. Whether that be through breathing techniques, deferred sensation like a birth comb, water, etc. Want to avoid a C-section unless emergency demands it. Delayed cord clamp and immediate skin to skin as long as not an emergency. Want to try breastfeeding, and pumping, but not opposed to formula if needed.
