Im giving birth at home, around 300 for our budget. I want to do it naturally, deyladed cord clamping, having a water birth. I want someone experienced, someone who is kind and won't rush through my birth
I plan to give birth in my home, and have a water tub available. I do not have a budget. I want my birth to be in my living room, with a warm tub of water available. I want to be able to go into any position I feel is needed. I would like delayed cord clamping, and no vaccines or shots of any sorts after baby is born, and to keep the vernix caseosa on after birth for at least 24 hours. I would like my husband to be there, and possibly my mother, along with a midwife and a doula. I would like some music, and support from everyone in the room. if a medical emergency were to happen, there is a fire station across the street, and hospital is 10-15 minutes away. This is my first pregnancy, and I would love a happy and safe home birth. I am still actively researching.
I hope to give birth in a birth center (still looking into one), out of pocket budget for a doula and potentially chiropractor/pelvic floor specialist is ideally no more than $2-4k. Would love a certified doula who has multiple years of experience (as well as certified chiropractor and pelvic floor specialist if my budget/insurance allows), English as primary language. This is my second pregnancy and I am 20 weeks, I am late in the game to look for these specialists because I am just now deciding against a hospital birth this time around. I am 25 years old, mother to a 14 month old, and a devoted Christian (would love a Christian doula). I am not seeking any other help besides a birth doula and other physical specialists if feasible.

Evergreen - Kirkland Birth plan: low stress/pressure vibe.
I plan to give birth at home, no medicine. My budget would be anything but of course not spending too much. I would ultimately like to see if insurance can help at all.
A birth doula a child birth educator
My OB says there is a 20% chance she'll be in the room for delivery, apparently that's average. I want someone in the room who is there to uphold my wishes and birth plan. I want a natural birth. I funny want to clamp the cord until it spots pulsing. I'm on the fence about vitamin k. I don't want my baby to be bathed right away, or taken from me. I don't consent to the eye treatment they put on baby, or any vaccines. I need to know there is someone advocating for these choices, and am looking for someone to help me bring our baby into the world who will respect my faith and those choices
- Planning to give birth in hospital at Providence in Everett. - We are hoping to use AppleHealth/Medicaid, which I have for the duration of pregnancy. - This is my second pregnancy and birth. Our first child was delivered via unplanned c-section at 41 weeks after induction. I would like TOLAC if prior to 42 weeks or a planned c-section at 41/42 weeks. - We had a great doula for our first delivery - her words and presence carried me through some tough moments in labor and before. I didn't know if that was something I wanted again, but the closer I get to the date, the more I want a sense of affirmation of my intuition, self-advocacy and support as we navigate the medical system.
